about

This song is about how we strongly believe that pride should be reserved for accomplishments you've achieved as an individual or immediate group.

Racial pride? Lame. National pride? Lame. Family pride? Lame.

You didn't fucking do anything. What are you proud of - hand outs?

If anything, immigrants have more of a right to national pride than anyone because they fucking CHOSE the place they're representing. Ironic, isn't it?

lyrics

You're strutting your stuff, and your head's held high,
But have you ever wondered why,
You fill your lungs, puff out your chest,
why do you believe your breed's the best?
You're a product of conditioning,
From elitist dicks repositioning.

You didn't choose, you didn't decide,
So why are you so full of national pride?
In fact come to think, you didn't do shit.
It's about time that you admit,
Pride should be a sense of accomplishments,
Not something that comes without consent.
Can you really be proud of a stereotype?
There's just something about that that's just not fucking right.

Bloodline of the ignorant purist,
Decended from immigrant tourists.
It doesn't matter where you're from.
Don't be proud of what you are, but who you become.

You're strutting your stuff, and your head's held high,
But have you ever wondered why,
You fill your lungs, puff out your chest,
Why do you believe your breed's the best?

Before you try to prove your superiority,
By drinking or yelling or fighting for your city,
It doesn't matter where you're from,
Don't be proud of what you are, but who you become.
