about

FROM OUR BOOKLET:

As much as critical thought is crucial to a revolution, so is feeling good. You can be anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-ageist until the cows come home, but if you're but if you're not in favour of the good stuff, then what are you fighting for? You have to be the change you want to see in the world. That being said, it's elemental to stay positive and keep the good vibes going. Look up a fun little documentary called The Esoteric Agenda (just ignore the Illuminati stuff conspiracy theory stuff). Hell, even super retarded, dumbed down "documentaries" about Quantum Physics like The Secret teach that the only reality that exists is the one you choose to perceive. Our biological make up revolves around feeling good. Why do you think orgasms feel so awesome? Because that's nature's way of saying "You should do this if you wish to continue as a species". Adapting to seek out what feels good (biologically speaking... leave your "but heroin feels good to heroin addicts" argument at the door, because that's a symptom of culture and society), is what has allowed us to continue as a species. That being said, enjoy this song about how emo kids are counter-evolutionary and just silly. The horn section featured on this track is that of The Ivy League Brawlers. We played our first show with three of those boys back when they were another band, and they've been with us since the start. We love you Mat, Mike, Quinn and Jarvis!
