Another song written from our personal experiences. As a kid, Slut was in a low, low fucking place for years, and the only thing that saved his life was music. It was the song that inspired the tattoo of the inside of his left bicep that prevented him from doing something that would end in tragedy and disaster. It's fucked how music made for the right reasons is meant to touch people and inspire beautiful feelings, but when a band comes to town, oftentimes the shows restrict minors. We've all been there. It's absofuckinglutely terrible that bands can tour abroad, but completely neglect the majority of their fanbase. Denying a kid entry for the sake of liquor sales is ageism, we don't fucking stand for it. We aim to play bar shows, as much as we play all ages shows. The youth is something we will always support and be there for.
(Not in booklet... Andrew gave me a story to post about his experience with this too, but I lost it, and it was ultimately not in our booklet for this album. I'm an idiot.)
