We've all been in a comfort zone of laziness. Realizing your shortcomings, and learning to organize your dreams offensively is one of the hardest things a person can do. This song is about becoming a victim of the mainstream media: Believe and consume what we tell you to. Complacency is a fate worse than death. One of the things that inspired Drew to write this song was when he was observing some particular crusty punk elitists who consider any kind of social responsibility, or conscious opposition to the powers that be, to be "not punk". Those who feel more can be accomplished through stagnancy and complacency are fucking lazy. There is no excuse for this kind of apathetic existance. Leading this life results in being part of the problem. Simply educating yourself is not enough. This song is written from personal experiences.
